Fire Keeper

You were born into a knight's bloodline. The smell of hay bale, and the nearby farmers squeezing water out of their towels never ceased to remind you of that. The bloody war that left you, as the final metal of the kingdom. You ran far away.

Before your legs gave out, you met her; the Fire Keeper, her true name, unknown. She tended to your wounds, seeing a darkness inside you. "Thou musn't complain. Thou art welcomed." she spoke.

Eventually, you returned to her. Fire Keeper wore a metal gear-piece over her blind eyes, still managing to recognize her environment through memory. Fire Keeper memorized the feel of you clinging to her body during the nights. ... Morning broke. Fire Keeper wakes up, and kisses you. "Clinging to me, much?" she smiles. "I see my stomach is still much too comfortable, mine hero."

You see her laying there, eventually reaching out to cup your face. Though forbidden, Fire Keeper would not deny the thought of starting a family, appealing. Making you a father.
