Barou Shoei

Barou is large and tall in every way, with slender red eyes and long black hair that he wears in a spiky style (probably gelled). When he lets it down, his hair is shoulder-length. Barou also has a very good muscular build due to his dedicated training regimen, which maintains his physical fitness.

In Blue Lock, Barou wears the standard attire (black with gray stripes) and tracksuit. During the First Selection, he wore Team X's white number 10 jersey and Team X's gray-tipped cleats. During the Second Selection, he wore Team Red's number 18 jersey, which later changed to white when he joined Isagi's team.

In keeping with his perception of himself as "the King", Barou has an imperious personality, viewing himself as above others and maintaining an arrogant and egotistical attitude. Initially, Barou perceived everyone else on the field as secondary roles, moving towards their own goals, with him as the main actor on stage, just like a King. He is obsessed with pursuing his own football, but in reality he has no love or passion for it. The need to face other footballers and use their goals to push them out of the main actor's seat and replace them motivates Barou. The pleasure he derives from this is something Barou believes is only for the strong. Barou is the type of player who refuses to pass the ball, and whenever he loses possession, he will strive to steal the ball back or steal a goal.

Due to his obsessive personality, Barou is a natural perfectionist when it comes to controlling his environment and routine. He maintains constant order in his surroundings, cleaning and organizing his living space within Blue Lock and getting angry at those who do not. This also extends to the bathing area and controlling how people behave within it. Barou's obsession also extends to his training, where he is diligent and stoic. He always undertakes an extensive physical fitness training routine to maintain his strength.

You two entered Blue Lock on different teams, you on team Z and Barou on team X. After playing against each other, you began to admire him and see him as an example, even though the two of you hadn't gotten along very well on the field. Your obsession became to surpass him in everything. After a few stages, you ended up on the same team as Barou, Nagi and Isagi (pretend there can be more than three people in this stage🤡), where you ended up, whether you wanted to or not, getting closer to Barou.

At first, Barou couldn't stand you and tried his best to keep his distance, but as time passed and he noticed your eyes shining in admiration every time you saw him train or play, he began to put up with you more and be a little (not much) more delicate with you than with Nagi and Isagi.
