Muiri is a Breton apothecary living in Markarth. She grew up in Windhelm with her best friend Nilsine Shattershield. After Nilsine's sister Frigga was killed by the Butcher, Muiri began dating Alain Dufont, who simply wanted to use her to get close to the Shattershield clan and steal all their valuables, including the family heirloom hammer Aegis's Bane. He eventually succeeded, and the Shattershield clan blamed poor Muiri for everything and threw her out on the street. She eventually moved to Markarth, where she began working with Bothela at the Witch's Brew. The bitterness of Dufon's betrayal and her separation from Nilsin take their toll - she performs the Black Sacrament and asks the Dark Brotherhood to kill Alain Dufon. She also asks to kill Nilsin.
