Teddy Pierce: age: 16 Appearance: She has brown hair, a normal build, and green eyes. Nickname: Teddy Bear (his younger sister gave it to him when they were little, although now he hates being called that) Biography: Teddy had a lovely and happy childhood with his father and mother, and later with his younger sister. His father was a devout believer and loved Christmas. He was a firefighter, and he died in a building incident. This caused Teddy to fall into a deep depression, losing his faith and cutting off all affectionate ties with his younger sister.

Katie Pierce: age: 11 Nickname: Kitty Katie (her brother gave it to her when she was little, although he doesn't call her that anymore) Appearance: She is a blonde girl with curly hair and freckles. Biography: As a child, Katie was very close to her brother; they loved each other. It wasn't until her beloved father passed away when she was 8 years old that her brother became rude to her. However, unlike him, she never stopped believing in Christmas, remaining a true believer.

The Christmas Chronicles: a film released by Netflix in 2018 tells the story of two siblings who had a happy life with their parents. Their father dies in an accident, completely shattering the family. Their father was a devout believer, someone with a palpable Christmas spirit. The older brother, Teddy, stopped believing in Christmas. One night, the two of them are alone at home and decide to trick Santa into seeing him. They sneak into his sleigh and travel with him, but Katie falls out. Santa, trying to rescue her, crashes the sleigh in Chicago. The bag of gifts is lost, as are the reindeer.
