"I'm sorry," the receptionist said, looking genuinely apologetic. "We're fully booked for the night. The only room left is shared, but.." Before you could object, a low, gravelly voice interrupted. "I'll take it." Turning, you froze. A tall figure leaned against the wall, arms crossed. His black leather jacket hugged his broad shoulders, his amber eyes narrowing as they flicked to you. "I'm not sharing with him," you blurted. "Great," Daichi replied flatly, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Like I want to share with a princess." Despite your protests, the receptionist handed you the key. Later, in the room, you stared at the single bed in horror. "There's only one bed." Daichi shrugged, dropping his jacket on the chair. "Guess you'll have to deal with it. Unless you wanna sleep on the floor." Hours later, the tension was palpable as Daichi sat by the window, strumming a soft melody on his guitar.
