Nejire Hado

Nejire Hado (波は動どうねじれ Hadō Nejire ?) also known as Nejire Chan (ネジレちゃん Nejirechan ?), is a Professional Heroine who recently graduated from UA Academy and is part of the Big Three.

Nejire is very talkative and terribly curious, showing interest in other people's unique physical characteristics, easily becoming distracted by them. Because of this, she can be very direct with her questions, sometimes to the point of being intrusive and rude.[1]

In her early days at UA, her personality alienated people from her, and everyone believed she was looking down on them because of her powerful Quirk. Because of this, she remained cold and distant, keeping her emotions bottled up. It wasn't until Tamaki Amajiki, and later Mirio Togata, befriended her that she was able to open up and regain her self-confidence. She is a "free spirit," someone with a genuine passion for learning new and unusual things, and she isn't afraid to speak her mind or show how she feels. She seems to enjoy knowing more than others, but not in a proud way, as she likes explaining things to people and sharing her knowledge, as shown when she enthusiastically wanted to explain Mirio Togata's Quirk to Class 1-A when she first met them, and became slightly annoyed when she couldn't. It's mentioned that Nejire acts like a preschooler due to her cheerfulness and childlike demeanor.

Nejire is shown to be a caring and sweet person to those close to her, affectionately hugging Ryukyu before the meeting with Sir Nighteye and becoming very close to her comrades. She is also very enthusiastic, friendly, and cheerful, and is always seen on the go. She doesn't seem very concerned about Tamaki Amajiki when she learns of his attack and when Dabi reveals himself to be Toya Todoroki, possibly because she has a more optimistic outlook than the other heroes. Thanks to her inquisitive and talkative nature, she is a remarkably level-headed person, even though she comes across as a bit of an airhead most of the time.

Despite her carefree personality, Nejire is fierce in battle and, when the situation demands it, can be very calm and focused. Her strong heart is what has allowed her to be one of the top three students at UA, and her curiosity doesn't affect her treatment of the enemy; she remains focused on defeating them. Nejire can show great judgment, aptitude, and anger, as seen in her fight against Rikiya Katsukame and against the High-End Nomus, where she mostly showed seriousness, becoming quite angry when she saw Ryukyu seriously injured by Tomura Shigaraki.

Nejire has fair skin, large blue eyes, and extremely long light blue hair that reaches her legs and seemingly twists around itself at her waist. She has side-swept bangs tucked behind her ears and two short strands of hair on either side of her face. She also wears a vest over her school uniform and according to Yuyu Haya, Nejire is more of a "cute" girl than a "sexy" one.

Her hero costume consists of a skin-tight blue bodysuit with pale mint green markings covering her torso from her shoulders to between her legs, with matching stripes of the same two colors around it. On her feet, she wears a pair of knee-high boots and black straps around the top of each thigh with a pair of yellow gauntlets on her arms, as well as two strands on her head of an unknown material (possibly her hair) that twist into spiral horns.

After Dabi attacked her with his flames in the Paranormal Liberation War, she has short hair barely reaching her chin and no scars.

Nejire is considered one of the most powerful students at UA Academy; along with Mirio Togata and Tamaki Amajiki, they are collectively known as the Big Three. Like the rest of the Big Three, Nejire's abilities can rival or even surpass those of most professional heroes.

She has shown great mastery over her Quirk, making it powerful and versatile, and can use it even outside the battlefield. Despite the lack of speed of her Quirk, Nejire uses her energy to increase her own mobility, being able to control how much energy she wants to emit and being able to release it from her hands and feet simultaneously, managing to attack her target from a distance while staying away from her enemy.

As part of the Big Three of UA and one of the strongest students in the Academy, Nejire can work on equal footing with Ryukyu, the No. 10 (formerly No. 9) hero. She proved strong enough to take down two villains with Gigantification Quirks on her own and was able to face Rikiya Katsukame of the Eight Expendables, enhanced with Trigger, with the help of Ryukyu, Ochaco Uraraka, and Tsuyu Asui, emerging completely unscathed from the fight.

During the Paranormal Liberation War, she helped evacuate civilians and then effortlessly faced several High-End Nomus. With the help of Shoto Todoroki, she was able to fight hand-to-hand against an enhanced Tomura Shigaraki. After Gigantomachia's arrival and being burned by Dabi's flames, she was able to get back up and, with the help of other Heroes, face some Nomus while protecting Best Jeanist, although with some difficulty.

Surge (波は動どう Hadō ?): Nejire's Quirk gives her the ability to manipulate and generate shock waves from her vitality in a spiral shape.

Nejire can control the output of her waves and release them from any part of her body, being able to use this Quirk to propel herself through the air, thus achieving a semi-flight form.

Super moves Gring Wave (ねじれる波動グリングウェイヴ Guringu Weivu?): This attack hits its enemies with a powerful shockwave, strong enough to simultaneously knock down two villains with Gigantification-type Quirks.[2] Gring Flood (ねじれ洪水グリングフロッド Guringu Furoddo?): Nejire charges her Quirk to 100% before releasing it in a massive burst of energy.[3]
