Yor is a young woman with fair skin, long black hair, and upturned red eyes. She divides her hair into two sections and crosses them on her head, securing them with a headband and forming two thick locks of hair that reach below her chest.[2] When her hair is down, she doesn't have the usual two thick strands, and her hair reaches about halfway down her back.

At home, Yor usually wears a red backless sweater with black tights, a red skirt, and brown heeled boots. She wears a white headband and a pair of dangling gold earrings in the shape of small spikes. When going outside, she puts on a long beige coat with black buttons over her clothes.

At Berlint City Hall, she wears a standard work uniform consisting of a white long-sleeved shirt and green sleeveless vest, a green knee-length office skirt, and black heels.

As an assassin, Yor wears a tight black halterneck dress that shows off her shoulders and cleavage, with a rose choker and a red rose pattern on the inside of the skirt. The front of the skirt is mid-thigh length and the back of the skirt reaches below the knees. She is also wearing a pair of black thigh-high boots and black fingerless gloves. She wears a golden headband with a rose and two thorns on each side. Her weapons are the same color. This was her only good dress[3] until her wedding to Lloyd, after which she buys more formal clothes to better represent herself at the elite Eden Academy.

Yor lacks social skills and initially comes across as somewhat aloof, interacting minimally with her co-workers and being rather blunt, with Camille describing her as robotic. Likewise, Yor is remarkably composed, able to maintain her composure in the heat of battle. She is incredibly polite, to the point of asking her victims for "the honor of taking their lives." Despite her job, Yor is a genuinely kind person with strong maternal and big sister instincts. After becoming part of the Forger family, Yor becomes more expressive and opens up to her co-workers, asking for help in being a better wife or cooking. She is protective of her family, especially Anya.

Due to having spent most of her life as an assassin, Yor's way of thinking often deviates greatly from the norm. She tends to solve problems through murder, such as contemplating killing everyone at Camille's party after the latter threatens to tell Yor's brother that she came without a partner, and killing a parent whose child is a candidate for Eden Academy so that Anya can be assured of a place as a student. To this extent, she has an affinity for weapons, being fascinated by the image of a guillotine and a table knife.

In a completely idiosyncratic way, Yor is extremely gullible, easily fooled by the ridiculous lies Loyd tells her to conceal his identity. Despite her intelligence and competence, Yor is strikingly lacking in common sense, asking Camilla if boogers make coffee taste better in response to her suggestion that she add one to her boss's coffee. On another occasion, she responded to Loyd's question about passing an exam by telling him the cause of death, misinterpreting passing as death.

Yor is shown to be unsure of herself and her abilities, believing that she is not good at anything other than killing or cleaning, and she constantly worries about being a bad wife or mother. After her interview at Eden Academy, she tries to be a more normal mother.

Jor and her younger brother Yuri grew up in East Nielsberg. Orphaned at an early age, Yor was recruited into Garden, where she began working as an assassin to financially support her misfortune. Wanting her brother to live without worries, she used her salary to buy any educational books or snacks her brother wanted.[source?]

She continued to support her brother, receiving money from her murders, until Yuri was hired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a diplomat, after which she used the money for herself and continued to fulfill contracts until the present day. Before working at Berlin City Hall, she gave clients "massages," which was actually a euphemism for her assassination job.

Cleaning: The need to "cover up" after her murders has led Yor to have nearly unrivaled cleaning skills, which she uses to keep the Forger home spotless.

Intelligence and Intuition: While not as intelligent as Loyd, Yor has some knowledge of pressure points, using them on a cow to instantly disable them. She also has some knowledge of the human body, though this seems to only extend to lethal points such as the jugular or carotid artery. She showed keen intuition during her interview at Eden Academy, sensing the gazes of the teachers but being unaware of their cause. Her distinguished career as an assassin is further evidence of her impressive situational awareness.

Yor also has sufficient medical knowledge to treat a gunshot wound.

Poison Resistance: Yor is highly resistant to poison. She drank a cocktail mixed with the bodily fluids of pufferfish, a family of fish that contains a neurotoxin that is lethal in micrograms. Her only symptoms after ingesting the cocktail were tingling and a suppressed sense of pain, which helped ease her gunshot wound. During a fight on a cruise ship, she withstood inhaling enough poison gas to kill a bear.

Weapon Proficiency: Yor wields two golden stilettos in combat. They have a hilt with a thin, circular loop at the back and a long, tapered tip, designed for powerful strikes. Yor uses them to pierce opponents' heads or arteries, though she has demonstrated the ability to throw them with great speed and force. The weapon is a reference to the thorns of a wild rose.[4]

Teaching: Yor has shown good teaching skills, especially when it comes to physical training. She taught Anya how to defend herself at school. Yor also prepared her for dodgeball, teaching the girl how to perform a "secret ball throwing technique."

Alcohol: Although Yor is resistant to poison, she is lightweight. She tends to drink large amounts of alcohol in a short period of time, greedily pour wine into her glass, or drink it straight from the bottle. Her intoxication makes her temperamental and aggressive, as she is willing to use her martial arts against Loyd and almost never misses an opportunity to throw a fork at Yuri, hitting him. She seems to share this trait with Yuri.

Cooking: Because Yor only considers the nutrients and not the taste or appearance of food, she consistently fails to cook well and usually leaves the task to Loyd. When she tries to cook dinner, she doesn't know what ingredients to buy and instead chooses to take everything one at a time, thinking that she can cook something while she has meat and vegetables. Her attempt to cook breakfast for the family results in a meal consisting of sloppily chopped fish heads and tails, causing Anya to call her a terrible cook.

Yor's dishes will make any taster, even Loyd, fall to the ground. The only person shown to be able to withstand Yor's cooking is her brother Yuri, although he vomits endlessly even while eating. Despite this, Yuri grew up without serious health problems. However, it was implied that Bond saw himself killed by the cooking Yor in one of his visions. The only dish she can successfully cook is her late mother's Southern stew after Camille gives her some cooking lessons and recreates the dish from their memories.

Her skills with hand weapons are completely unusable in cooking, as she cut meat like a razor and broke the cutting board. Yor also managed to injure herself while using a potato peeler.

Lies: Yor is very bad at lying, and her alibis are only successful due to sheer luck. After Yuri asked Yor why she didn't tell him about Loyd, she replied that she simply forgot.

Yor often offers advice to Anya, though due to a variety of factors (such as Anya not understanding) this rarely works. Yor has strong maternal instincts towards the girl, likely due to her having raised Yuri when he was a child, and becomes very upset when she insults her cooking. This maternal behavior makes Yor extremely protective of her daughter, as she is prone to being cruel and sometimes excessively violent towards anyone who displeases the child. As part of her maternal behavior, she scolds Anya when necessary, such as when she runs away. In turn, Anya is also protective of her, willing to put herself in danger to save Yor when cornered.

Bond Forger It was implied that they had a very strong relationship, due to Yor always bathing Bond and also taking him for walks when Anya was not around.

Camilla Initially, Yor and Camilla do not get along well. Camilla is openly jealous of Yor's good looks and mocks her aloof attitude and lack of a partner at her age. She even reveals nasty rumors to Loyd about Yor's previous job in an attempt to dissuade him from pursuing her, but she fails. Later, when Yor asks Camilla to teach her how to cook, she warms up to her co-worker and they begin to get along, though Camilla remains somewhat thorny with her.
