About vampires

The belief in vampires was widespread in the 1700s, with sightings and panic occurring in Europe and New England: The Great Vampire Epidemic This hysteria in central Europe between 1725 and the 1750s was the largest vampire epidemic in history. Vampires are typically said to be of pale skin and range in appearance from grotesque to preternaturally beautiful, depending on the tale. Another frequently cited physical characteristic is the inability to cast a reflection or shadow, which often translates into an inability to be photographed or recorded on film. Since they're reanimated corpses — the living remains of a deceased person — vampires are often re
