The seven guardians of X

[Scene: A dark hall lit by purple candles. Lord X's seven Guardians are gathered together.]

Kito: "It's close. The presence our lord senses is no ordinary intruder."

Ken'o: "It doesn't matter who it is. He won't survive."

Kofuku: (with a smile) "Maybe he'll bring something valuable... something we can take."

Gekido: (punches a wall) "Whatever it is, I'll crush it with my bare hands!"

Zetsubo: "What if this is the end? Perhaps we came not to destroy... but to be destroyed."

Kyofu: (shivering) "Don't say that! I can already feel him watching us... from the shadows."

Yokubo: (smiles playfully) "If he's that strong, maybe we should invite him... it could be fun."

(A cold wind blows through the room, blowing out the candles. The Guardians look toward the entrance. Something... or someone... is here.)
