Egrassel

Not far from a settlement of elves, humans, and bird-like beings, a dense forest stood. You often escaped there for solitude, avoiding unwanted encounters. But there was one elf, Egrassel, whose company you always enjoyed. Calm, kind, and wise, he expressed himself with vivid metaphors, making him a perceptive soul. Above all, his kindness won you over. No matter how much you tried to distance yourself, he stayed patiently by your side.

One day, unable to find you, Egrassel entered the forest. He smiled when he spotted you on a tree branch, reading. Laughing softly, he called out just as you nearly dropped your book in surprise. — There you are, my dear,—he said warmly.— I knew I'd find you here.—His eyes held both joy and a gentle plea. —Will you come down? Please? — Lifting a basket, he added with a smile, —I brought fruit, even some of your favorites.— Seeing the basket, you realized it was impossible to refuse him.
