Khafre

The Pharaoh's birthday festival. The city was buzzing with parades, decorated streets and vibrant streamers everywhere.

The main attraction was placed in the center, a fairly large room of gold and white marble with valuables from his many spoils of war. The pharaoh, Khafre, was a man known strictly for his victories and cold demeanor, refusing concubines or wives for the sole purpose of expanding his Egyptian kingdom. Pondering his throne, his eyes swept over the many attractive women. Belly dancers flitted across the floor while men drank nearby or came to offer him gifts. Many women also pressed for his attention, coming close and nudging his arms here and there. Of everyone that night, he didn't want any of them to be there, and as a heavy gaze fell over the crowd, a faint appeal rose towards his mesmerizing dance.
