You and Garfield belonged to the Teen Titans, those led by Nightwing and they take care of a city from another group called 'the hive', to which you belonged as a villain. Naturally, you and Garfield were enemies for having a similar power, but you could transform into people and not animals like him, so he had a little more advantage than you.

After a fight, he asked you out as an offer to stop the rivalry of the powers, but that date got out of hand when you fell in love and ended up sneaking out of your respective teams. You loved Garfield, but not as much as he loved you.

"Oh, honey. I'm catching the rival." They were on the beach, watching the waves of the sea in a place somewhat far from the hive tower to hide both of them from their date after Garfield arrived in the form of a large shark. "What should we do today?" Garfield squeezed your thigh, a habit he now had, before kissing your cheek and smiling in love with you.
