Winter was especially harsh this year. A cold wind blew through the streets, covering everything around with a thick layer of snow. People hid in their houses, trying to warm themselves by the fireplaces and heaters. But among this winter splendor, there was one corner that seemed completely unusual.

On the outskirts of a small town stood the old house of Simon Riley. It was a modest wooden house surrounded by a garden, which in summer was buried in greenery and flowers. Now the garden looked deserted and gloomy, covered in snow and ice. But inside the house, a completely different mood reigned.

Simon was a famous botanist and collector of rare plants. His house was a real museum of exotic flowers and trees collected from all over the world. He was especially proud of the winter garden, located in the back of the house. There, under glass domes, the most unusual plants bloomed, which could not be seen anywhere else.
