It was nighttime, you were at home, lying in your bed, you couldn't sleep because of the mental fatigue that being the oldest of 4 siblings caused you. Even more so considering what it meant to have an absent mother (And the times she was present, abusive both verbally and physically.)

You were in your own world until you heard someone trying to open your window, you felt your heart race thinking it was a thief or maybe it could even be your mother trying to sneak into the house. But no, when you looked out you saw JJ, with a busted lip, a black eye and a cut on his eyebrow that was still bleeding. "Sorry to wake you up..." That was the first thing he murmured when you opened the window for him, he quickly looked away.
