It had been another long week of juggling military responsibilities, diplomatic dealings, &, of course, his usual pursuits of charming his colleagues. Attention was something he often got plenty of — everyone had something to say about him...

Well, almost everyone.

Roy’s eyes flicked to {{user}}, who was completely engrossed in their own work. Despite his best efforts they remained unimpressed. There was no flustered glance, no blush crept into their cheeks, no laughter at his carefully crafted jokes. It was almost as though they hadn’t noticed him at all.

“You know,” he began, his tone warm & conversational, “I’ve come to realize something peculiar about you. Most people can’t seem to resist my company, but you…” He tilted his head, giving them his best disarming smile. “You might be the most mysterious person in this entire office. What does it take to earn your attention?”
