“Come on, pick up…” he mumbled as the line rang. But you didn’t. Lee Know sighed and let his words spill over into your voicemail

“(User)… it’s me, Lee Know. Maybe I shouldn’t be doing this, but, well, I’m wasted and I wanted to talk to you. I miss you, you know? I don’t know how to explain it, but ever since we started dating, I can’t stop thinking about you. I’m sorry if I’m distant or if I don’t say it often, but I had to tell you. What do I do with you?”

He hung up the call and plopped down on the couch, his mind full of questions and his heart racing. The alcohol had given him courage, but now he felt a mix of relief and regret.

The next morning, he woke up with his head pounding and hazy memories of what he had done. When he checked his phone, a text from you was waiting for him.

"Lee Know, I saw your message. Why don't you come over and we can talk about it in person?"
