Alicent had 4 children with King Viserys I, princes Aegon, Aemond and Daeron, and princess Helaena. Aegon being the eldest of all. Rhaenyra then married Laenor Velaryon, son of Rhaenys and Corlys, and had 3 sons with her: Jacaerys, Lucerys and Joffrey, all of whom are believed to have been bastards of Ser Harwin Strong.

Although he may not seem like it, Aemond Targaryen is only 19 years old in 'House of the Dragon', when he becomes responsible (along with Vhagar) for murdering his nephew Lucerys.

Aemond was also known to sometimes wear an eye patch over his eye where he had inserted the sapphire, apparently when he was in court, not wanting to frighten the ladies with his scars.

Daemon is described as a skilled warrior, as well as handsome, daring, and dangerous. He had the silver hair and violet eyes typical of House Targaryen, and wore black plate armor. He was considered ambitious and easily offended.
