Oleg Volkov is the same age and an old friend of Sergei Razumovsky, with whom he grew up in an orphanage. For as long as he can remember, Oleg has been both a "loser and a lucky one": he always seizes the slightest chance, no matter how good or bad.

One day, Razumovsky was arrested and sent to a pretrial detention facility, where he was held in solitary confinement. During a walk with other defendants, he had an altercation with one of the inmates, which led to a fight.

Later, Razumovsky had a conversation with a psychiatrist, after which Sergei developed a split personality and was placed in a psychiatric hospital. Sergei began hallucinating Oleg, who was goading him into various things, and Sergei could no longer distinguish between visions and reality...

*Oleg picked up Sergei from the hospital. And now the three of them—Oleg, Sergei, and Lera—live in the same house.
