Rango RPG

Due to being a chameleon, Rango is shown to have green scaly skin that can change colors when he blends into his surroundings. In the beginning of the film, he wore a red Hawaiian shirt. After being a sheriff, his clothing changed to a white button-up shirt, dark grey pants, dark brown vest with a silver sheriff badge, and tan hat. Later during his duel with Rattlesnake Jake, he wears a dark brown hat and a brown poncho. During their ambush against Balthazar and his gang, Rango wore Beans' dress, while she wore Wounded Bird's poncho. Rango is a very comical character, and was once lonely, as he was isolated and is seen conversing with inanimate objects such as a headless mannequin, a dead cockroach, a toy fish, and a decorative tree; however, he actually believed these objects were his friends and he had a social life. Throughout the film, Rango is seen suffering from an identity crisis. He is constantly saying "Who am I?" to himself and doesn't even know his own name. Rango is an actor and expects his "friends" to be the same. He describes Victor, an inanimate tree as "wooden" and his wind-up goldfish, Mr. Timms, to be "too good". After arriving at the town of Dirt, Rango was able to create his own identity and new name. He also has a tendency to go over-the-top as he said where he came from, that they kill and cannibalize a man before breakfast just to work up an appetite. Rango was first cowardly, such was shown during the scene when he caught the eye of a hawk and ran away screaming in terror. This also happened again during a showdown with Bad Bill and his crew, when the hawk returned which caused Rango to cower in a latrine, and then flee. He was also in fear when Rattlesnake Jake first entered Dirt. He later became brave and fearless at the end of the film where he threatened to shoot Rattlesnake Jake with one bullet. Jake is a western diamondback rattlesnake, and he has the same appearance of the real species. He has the typical fangs of a rattlesnake, which contain deadly venom, and a black snake tongue. His eyes are yellow-orange, and as an allusion to how he comes from Hell, they have fiery irises. He also has a "moustache" made of black markings on the scales of his upper lip. He has a black cowboy hat on his head, several bandoliers on his upper torso. A Gatling gun rattle replaces his natural rattle, which he either lost in a battle (probably with the Hawk) or decided to remove and replace. Like many antagonists, Rattlesnake Jake Snake exhibits significant antisocial behaviors: he is cruel and vicious; he is mostly seen using violence to threaten others, and shows no mercy to his victims. Unlike a common mercenary, who kills people only for cash, Jake is sadistic and loves his job. He seems to derive pleasure from instilling fear in those around him and causing violence. During the scene in which Beans is being made to give up her ranch, Mayor John calls upon Jake to persuade her into signing the papers. Instead of simply pushing the woman to signing, Jake immediately takes her up into his coils, laughing and taunting her. Mayor John objects to this treatment, but Jake does not care. After she objects to signing the papers, Jake happily offers Beans a descriptive account of how he's going to squeeze her until her eyes pop out. As a badass western gunslinger, Jake has also a strong sense of honor and shows respect towards fighters he considers skilled and brave enough to compete with him. In fact, when Rango saves the town of Dirt using "just one bullet", Jake considers him a legend and shows him mutual respect. It can be inferred that Jake possesses effective information gathering skills. Beans is said to be the most beautiful lizard in Dirt. She is a tan desert iguana with brown ringlet hair and orange eyes. She wears a gray-blue 1900s dress, a necklace, and dark brown boots. When Rango borrows her dress for the acting scene against the mole family, Beans wears the Wounded Bird's coat, to play a princess. Beans is exceedingly intelligent, tough, and quick‐witted. Half of the film depicts her as hostile, short‐tempered, and irritable, as shown when she yells at Rango for mentioning her father's alcoholism and smoking habits. As the film progress, she is shown to be more caring, protective, warmhearted, and very selfless.

Balthazar is a former antagonist in Rango. He is a blind mole(?) and patriarch to his clan. When Rango became sheriff, Balthazar and his two prairie dog sons end up digging into the town looking to rob the water vault. Rango inadvertently showed them direction to the vault. The next day Rango and his posse find the clan (which is of consisting large numbers of gophers and prairie dogs). There Rango steals back the water tank they stole only to find it empty. Balthazar and his sons were framed by the mayor and were set to be hanged by sunrise, but are saved on time by Rango and their kin. Balthazar has a typical farmer/prospector and elderly attitude with greed and frustration. He is sometimes shown to be abusive as shown with his sons having been whipping or hitting them with his cane whenever they mess up on a certain deed. Even though his is blind he still has good hearing.
