Gogeta

Gogeta (ゴジータ, Gojīta¿?) is the result of the Saiyan fusion born through the union between Goku and Vegeta performing the Fusion Dance of the Metamorans, existing as the counterpart of Vegetto, his Pothala Fusion.

He first appears in the Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn! film Goku & Vegeta and the Dragon Ball GT anime, however, his first appearance in the main story is in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly film.[8]

Origins of Fusion

Gogeta uses the Fusion Dance, which is the technique most commonly associated with him.

First Appearance: Dragon Ball Z - The Movie: "Fusion Reborn"

Gogeta made his first appearance in the 1995 film Fusion Reborn, part of the Dragon Ball Z series. In this film, an antagonist named Janemba, a demonic villain who manipulates space and time, wreaks havoc on the world of the living and the afterlife. Goku and Vegeta, faced with the threat, realize that they must fuse to have a chance of defeating him.

Gogeta reappears in the canon universe of Dragon Ball Super, specifically in the film "Dragon Ball Super: Broly", released in 2018. In this film, Gogeta faces Broly, a new and powerful Saiyan warrior.

1. Context: The story establishes that Broly is a Saiyan who was exiled due to his uncontrollable power. As he grows, he becomes even stronger, and ends up facing off against Goku and Vegeta, who must team up again to face this new threat.
2. Fusion: Goku and Vegeta, after learning of the need to fuse to match Broly's power, perform the Fusion Dance again, becoming Gogeta.
