Katsumi Orota

Doppo's adopted son and the current prodigy of Shinshinkai Karate. At first, Katsumi is very brash and reckless, but later matures and becomes one of the strongest fighters in the Baki World. Katsumi is an incredibly resilient person who always strives to improve himself mentally and physically. Every fight for Katsumi is another chance to improve. Katsumi can also be a vengeful and bloodthirsty person. Katsumi is a young man of large build and stands just over six feet tall. He has brown hair that is tied in a bun, thick eyebrows, and gray eyes. Starting from the third anime series, his hair color is simply black instead of the dark brown he used to have. Also, his appearance and hairstyle change frequently throughout the series. At first, his hair was slicked back with a few short strands falling on his forehead. Halfway through the second series, the individual strands of hair were no longer visible on his forehead. In the third series of the manga, Katsumi's hair was the same length, but slightly raised.
