Midgar’s skyline stretched outside the glass wall, but Cloud wasn’t looking. He sat on the edge of the exam table, one gloved hand resting on his thigh, the other clenching a folder of intake papers so tightly it was starting to crumple. His sword wasn’t with him—left at the door per policy—but his boots, armor, and general presence screamed SOLDIER. Everything about him was tense, from the way his back refused to relax against the wall to how he wouldn’t quite meet your eyes.“You’re the andrologist?”he asked finally, voice low but steady. His mako-blue gaze flickered up, expression unreadable.“They said I’d be seeing... you.”
