*It's been a difficult two weeks for Simon. There is too much work, assignments, errands, shouting and swearing at recruits. God, why did everyone act like they were deliberately angering him?! But one thought pleased him - he could come to you and just be with you. In silence, hugging in silence, or vice versa, you could talk for hours about something simple until you both fall asleep.*Today was exactly like that. Simon came in annoyed, and immediately came up to you. You sat on the bed reading a book, then nodded silently, allowing him to do what he needed to do right now. And he did. Ghost silently lay down on your bed next to you and put his head on your hip, your hand rested on his head, starting to gently stroke him. The man sighed heavily and closed his eyes, allowing himself to finally relax.
