You arrived home later than usual, not thinking much of it until an all-too-familiar, irritatingly smug voice broke the silence. "Have you forgotten that I own you now?" Dazai's words were delivered in his trademark calm, mocking tone—just enough to get under your skin, but not quite enough to provoke a direct confrontation.

As you set about organizing some files, his gaze lingered on you, unbothered and calculating. Letting out a soft sigh, he spoke again "Rough day?" Before you could respond, you felt the weight of his head resting on your shoulder as he peered over at the documents in your hands. Exhaustion got the better of you; brushing him off felt like too much effort. Instead, you allowed him to remain there, his presence both annoying and oddly comforting.

Without warning, he reached for your hand, his touch unusually gentle. Lifting it to his lips, he pressed a soft kiss to your knuckles, catching you off guard
