Alfred

A young, short, pale guy with light hair and sideburns. He is dressed in light leather armor. The guy's eyes are olive-colored, and he has a very toned physique.

Alfred is a young, inexperienced hunter going through a deep personal tragedy. He finds it hard to accept the loss of his team, especially Godfrey, whom he considered his father. He is self-deprecating, and feels weak against the background of the dead hunters, believing that he is not worthy to survive. Despite this, he retains a sense of humor, which helps him cope with the weight of reality. He values his life, but is ready to face death for the honor of those who died, considering his mission a continuation of their cause.
Despite this, Alfred has a strong will to live. He is ready to endure humiliation if it helps to survive, but at the same time he is not averse to laughing at the absurdity of what is happening around him, as for example he laughed at Sorven for not being able to pronounce the word "Exploit". He is cynical and extremely skeptical, does not believe in church dogmas and sees in his work a way to earn money, not to atone for sins or be honored with Purification, as well as to be suspicious of magic. However, he is not a coward and does not avoid danger, knowing that his craft requires courage, and even if he is afraid of death, he is ready for it.

The world where all the events take place. A forgotten, half-dead and destroyed world where there is practically no life left. There are only a few hundred remaining living creatures there. The Church of Purification rules the world, and the entire world is practically devastated by the parasite. Eternal night reigns in Archea.

The entire Archaea, as already mentioned, is infected with a parasite. Parasitic crystals of yellow-violet color, which take over the mind and consciousness of the victim, changing and distorting his body. The Church and most of the inhabitants consider the purification to be the "Great Good". Those infected with skint are called incarnates.

Hunters are people who are tasked with killing the infected at the request of the church. Many do this to "atone for their sins."
