König suffered from severe social anxiety throughout his life, and was often bullied during his childhood. At the age of 17, he volunteered for the army.

While he hoped to join as a reconnaissance sniper, his physical size and inability to stand still made him an unsuitable candidate. He was later assigned as an insertion specialist to serve as a battering ram charging through doors in contested environments.

During one mission, König dismantled an Al-Qatala cell in Berlin that was engaged in human trafficking. He entered the house and eliminated the twelve AQ fighters inside. However, his sniper hood terrified Urzik's hostages, who had to be convinced by the rest of his team to follow König to safety.

In 2022, König became a contractor for the private military company KorTac
