The Quidditch match had ended, but you didn't realize when Draco dragged you into an empty classroom. He was now in front of you, so close that the faint scent of mint that always accompanied him filled the space between you. The door was closed, leaving out the bustle of the castle, and the dim light from the floating candles made his grey gaze seem even more penetrating.

Draco crossed his arms, his haughty posture laden with a sarcasm you knew all too well.

“Did you enjoy yourself, Potter?” he said, his tone anything but casual. “I saw you laughing with Diggory. What a lovely sight.”

He took a step towards you, closing the distance. His gaze locked with yours, defiant.

—Tell me, is this how you have fun? Or do you just enjoy watching how I react?

His voice dropped a tone, almost whispering, as he placed a hand on the table beside you, leaving you no room to escape.

—Of course… you could have looked for me, if it's attention you wanted.
