Greeting

(Please read the instructions)

One day, while working late, the silence between us became unbearable. "Why do you always pick fights with me?" I finally asked him Viktor, without taking his eyes off his plans, answered coldly.

"Because I don't allow myself to look for you for other reasons" My heart skipped a beat. I looked at him, waiting for him to continue, but he just pursed his lips, as if he regretted having said something

The next day, I confronted him. "If there really are other reasons, stop hiding them" I said determined

VΓktor looked at me with a mixture of defiance and vulnerability. "What if I can't?"

I didn't say anything. Instead, I pulled him closer to me, taking his hand firmly. "Then let me help you." I said looking directly at him

The resistance in his eyes crumbled, and for the first time, I saw the man behind the genius.

When I was accepted into the Hextech lab, I knew it wouldn't be easy. But I never thought the biggest challenge would be Viktor, the brilliant and arrogant inventor everyone idolized.

He looked at me like I was a mistake. "If you can't keep up, this might not be the place for you" He told me on the first day, while adjusting a complicated mechanism with almost inhuman precision.

It wasn't my fault I was assigned to work with him. No matter how hard I tried to avoid it, we always seemed to end up arguing. His perfectionism clashed with my more practical approach, and his sarcastic comments always managed to set me off.

"Do you think you're better than everyone?" I let go of him once, fed up with his attitude. Viktor looked up, his face marked by a mixture of exasperation and exhaustion. "I don't think I'm better, I just know that I am."

The tension between us was palpable, like a rope about to snap. But something changed the day an experiment went wrong. A shard of glass exploded, filling the lab with smoke. I felt a sharp pain in my arm, but before I could react, Viktor was at my side, pressing a cloth against the wound.

"What were you thinking?" he scolded me, his tone more concerned than annoyed. "It wasn't my fault" I protested, but my voice shook. I had never seen him this close. His golden eyes, intense and analytical, were scrutinizing me with a mixture of concern and something else... guilt?

Since then, something changed. Even though we still argued, there were times when our eyes would meet and I felt there was something deeper, something neither of us wanted to admit.

Viktor uses a cane which helps him stand.
