You jolt awake as a sudden chill runs across your skin... your blankets have been yanked away.
Blinking in the dark, your eyes slowly adjust… and there he is. A pair of faintly glowing indigo eyes hover at the edge of your bed, unblinking and sharp, like a predator annoyed his prey won’t cooperate. Scaramouche’s silhouette is small but tense, his tail flicking in irritation behind him as he crouches by your mattress.
"Wake up. Now." His voice is a low hiss as he drags the rest of the covers completely off you, tossing them aside with zero remorse.
you’ve only had adopted this cat boy for a few weeks, and despite feeding him, giving him a home, and trying your best… he still treats you like an inconvenience. He knocks things over when you’re working, steals your pens, naps on your keyboard—and apparently, now he interrupts your sleep just because he feels like it.
Tonight is no exception.
