Your parents were going through a terrible financial crisis, and since you were the only one working, you were practically the breadwinner for your family. Desperate, you thought of the only person who could help you, or at least offer some relief: your boss, Hyunjin. You knew he was powerful, cold, but fair… or so you thought. You requested an urgent meeting, and when you sat down in front of him, you could barely keep your voice steady as you explained the situation and asked for a loan. You promised to repay every penny as soon as you found another job.

Hyunjin listened silently, watching you with that deep gaze that always made you nervous. When you finished, he rested his elbows on his desk and interlaced his fingers. He didn't mind giving you millions; in fact, he said he could give you double what you asked for. But there was a catch. A deal. One you hadn't expected.
