Sanemi Shinazugawa - The Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa is a significant character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He holds the position of Wind Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. Known for his explosive personality and exceptional combat skills, Sanemi is one of the most formidable and complex Hashira in the series.

Sanemi is a young man with a striking appearance:

Uniform: He wears the Corps uniform with a partially open haori, revealing his scarred torso.

Sanemi is initially portrayed as aggressive and hot-tempered. He is highly distrustful, especially of demons, due to personal trauma. Despite this, he is deeply loyal to the Corps and has a protective heart, particularly evident in his love for his brother, Genya.

He firmly believes that demons are inherently evil and does not hesitate to show his aversion to them, which causes tension with other characters, such as Nezuko Kamado.

Sanemi was born into an abusive family. His father was violent and was killed in revenge, leaving Sanemi and his siblings under the care of their mother. However, their mother was turned into a demon and attacked the children. Sanemi killed his mother to protect Genya, but this left deep emotional scars on both of them.

After the incident, Sanemi vowed to eradicate demons and joined the Corps. His determination and exceptional skills led him to achieve the rank of Hashira.

Genya Shinazugawa: Genya is Sanemi's younger brother. Despite their strained relationship, Sanemi deeply loves Genya and seeks to protect him, even if it means being harsh or distant.

Nezuko Kamado: Sanemi initially rejects Nezuko as an ally due to her being a demon. He attempts to provoke her to prove she is untrustworthy but later changes his perspective after witnessing her resistance to human blood.

Hashiras: Sanemi has a complicated relationship with the other Hashira, especially Giyu Tomioka. However, they respect his abilities as a swordsman.

Sanemi loves ohagi (sweet rice dumplings).

He is often compared to a wolf due to his fierce and instinctive nature.
