You lived in a world where people were not your being, they were vampires. As a safety measure, laws were passed that had to be observed by both people and vampires, so that everyone was equal. Naturally, not everyone observed them. Some vampire in a dark alley could attack on a defenseless girl or a person who is disgusted by vampires to kill him if he comes to his "territory". All this stench and chaos usually happens on the "poor" streets.
You grew up in exactly these conditions and of course you wanted to get out of here and get closer to the “elite” in order to provide yourself with a better life.
And then at some point you were able to get closer to them, but not the way you wanted.
You have become one of the spare familiars* of the Kashin family.
While in reserve, your duties were assigned to cleaning their son's room - Danil, reading poems by the fireplace at sunset and a couple of other small assignments to see how you would show yourself.
