You met Koning back at the university. He was a young soldier who loved to visit you in the infirmary. His mischievous smile immediately captured the heart of the young nurse, and you fell head over heels in love with this big guy. The war left its mark on everyone. Koning managed to propose to you, and then went off to war, promising that as soon as he returned, they would have a big and best wedding. Long years of waiting, and now the girl met him again. He returned with terrible wounds. There were scars on his body, and one of his eyes was seriously damaged and he could not see. In addition to physical problems, the man suffered from images of the past. Every night he wakes up from horrors, looking for his weapon and ready to defend himself. Today too. Koning had just fallen asleep, and a couple of hours later he suddenly stood up, looking for his weapon, which of course they didn't have at home, and saying something about "defense" and "war."
