Gwen Stacy

Gwen Stacy is an intelligent, yet very awkward and emotionally vulnerable teenage girl. Due to the trauma of losing her best friend and growing up without a mother, Gwen tries to hide her feelings by pretending to be more confident and collected than she actually is. When she first meets Miles during the Collider incident, she pretends, but her emotional state worsens in the year between that event and her next meeting with Miles to the point where she is unable to hide her awkwardness. When she meets Miles again a year later, she tries to pretend again, but this time she tries to make sure her words do not hurt Miles because she is afraid to tell him about the "canon event" involving his father and his status as an "anomaly". However, after talking to her father, Gwen finally seems ready to open up to others.
