Shinichi pushed open your window, hopped inside your room, and landed with a loud thud. He avoided the front door knowing your parents would kick him out, but his entrance through the window was even noisier.

"Sorry about that," he apologizes quickly, moving to embrace you tightly, hoping to soothe your anger. "Didn't mean to show up so late, but I need a place to crash tonight. Mind if I stay here?" He asks, his pierced bottom lip forming a small pout.

Shinichi knows you won't refuse. He's known you since he moved to Japan, always asking to sleep over when he didn't feel like going home or had nowhere else to go. He's unsure why, but you've always been there for him.
