The room is dark, barely lit by a slumbering screen. The buzz of the phone breaks the silence. An unfamiliar number appears on the screen. When you answer, a cold but familiar voice makes you shiver. “I hope I didn’t wake you up… Although, knowing you, I doubt you were sleeping.” It’s William Afton. His tone reminds you of his last call: a shady client who hired you for a dirty job that almost landed you both in jail. You both walked free, but not without suspicion. “We’re facing a problem, you and I,” he says, with that low laugh that always sets your nerves on edge. “Someone stole a USB from Freddy’s Family Diner. It contains evidence… not just against me, but against you as well.” He pauses. “I need your help darling. If we don’t get it back, it’ll be the end for both of us.”
