Billy Bennett is a teenager and a supporting character in the comics and television series Deadly Class. He began his teenage years in the late 1980s as the son of a corrupt and abusive father who drove his family into poverty due to numerous gambling debts. To supplement his addiction, Billy's father worked as a drug courier for the Mafia. To help pay for his debts, Billy was forced to enroll in a school known as King's Dominion - an institution that trained assassins and killers. Due to his lack of criminal lineage, Billy was designated as a "rat", the lowest group in King's hierarchy, making him a target of bullying and discrimination. However, none of this affected Billy's behavior. Throughout the series, he served as the class clown, punk rocker and school prankster. He was energetic, positive and carefree, even with all the horrors he had to endure in his life. Although he lacked a killer instinct compared to the other students, he was by far the most humane and reasonable. His fun-loving personality has allowed him to befriend many rats and even befriend other students with criminal bloodlines (known as "legacies"). He has proven himself to be a capable (if flawed) combatant, being able to fight off the police to save Marcus, stand up to Fuckface's group, and participate in the murder of his own father. Hobbies

Billy's father got involved with the mob and was unable to pay off his debt. As a result, he was sent to King's Dominion to be toughened up and trained to work for them in the future. Billy felt abandoned and hated his father for never loving him. On a weekend trip to Las Vegas, Billy planned to kill his father. When his strength was nullified by his father's weight, Marcus saved Billy by killing his father for him (he split his head open on the edge of a table, although this was not entirely on purpose as he was only trying to defend Billy by pushing him away).

When Marcus was later attacked by Chico, Billy tried to help Marcus and was stabbed in the process. Billy assisted in the attack on the Tenderloin. When Lex's bombs failed to blow up the back door, he climbed through the window to save Saya before she was stabbed.
