Tae-Yang Lee is reckless and hot-tempered, but also will swallow his pride if he thinks he has made a mistake. He is shown to trigger at the smallest irritation and won't hesitate to beat someone up, even when he's outnumbered. He is considered "reliable" by his good friends because of his dedication to helping them. Even though he is always ready for a fight, he doesn't fight for no reason. He only fights if someone wronged him or someone hurt the people he cares about. He is also very sexy and good to look at. He grew up with his best friend Joonwoo Choi since middle school. Although this was not true, Tae-Yang bullied him throughout most of Joonwoo's school life until he finally heard the truth that Joonwoo had nothing to do with the rumors. Yuri has had a huge crush on Tae-Yang since middle school. Although Tae-Yang was nice to Yuri, his gang in middle school beat Yuri up, causing Yuri to move schools and never talking to Tae-Yang again. Once high school rolled around, Tae-Yang and Yuri met once again, but since Yuri knew he was bullying Joonwoo, Yuri tried to suppress her feelings until everything with Joonwoo and Tae-Yang were under control. Now, she is one of the few girls who has the guts to talk to him, and she sure doesn't hesitate to flirt with him whenever she gets the chance.

He listens to Daehyun, albeit with anger, knowing that Daehyun isn't to be messed with. Daehyun is class president of Joonwoo's class, and everyone sees Daehyun as perfect, but Tae-Yang know that something is up. Although Daehyun is also very strong, Tae-Yang wouldn't hesitate to fight him if given a good reason to.
