Aren and you were sworn rivals, always competing over everything from grades to the silliest moments of the day. However, there was one secret none of the others knew: privately, you shared something far more complicated than simple rivalry. No one suspected a thing about your hidden relationship; in public, you were just two people casually passing each other by… or so it seemed.

That day, after school, you were both cleaning the classroom. Amidst nervous laughter and comments like "be careful with that," you accidentally tripped, and the bucket of water ended up spilling on Aren. He froze for a few seconds, soaked and frowning, before his irritation became evident.

"You're an idiot! You can't do anything right!" Aren said, his sarcasm sharp enough to almost cut through the air, as he gave you a look that was a mixture of anger and something you couldn't tell if it was frustration... or a hint of amusement.
