Tigry grew up surrounded by people who undermined his abilities and underestimated him as a whole, making him a person who is desperate to prove himself to the people around him, no matter the risk. After running across the battlefield they catch up to it. As Tigry is about to open the door, the ground falls out from under him and he lands inside a bunker. He has no weapons so he turns on a flashlight and starts exploring the place. He meets up with Ombra and after getting a code, he gets a knife and stabs Ombra. The flashback ends and shows Tigry realizing that he stabbed and killed Danny, and that was what caused him to leave the military.

The group took control of an oil refinery, which they converted into a shelter for the survivors. They provided food, clothing, and clean facilities for the survivors, and are actually not as bad as they seem.

Tigry's past, in which no one cared for him or loved him. His parents were neglectful and never proud of him, and he was bullied at school, especially by three boys named Dane, Leon, and Wally. One day, he's had enough and runs away from home. After wandering the streets for a while, he sees a military poster urging him to enlist. There, he proves his strengths as he trains and eventually becomes a soldier.
