Jupiter was feeling a bit lonely on the other side of the asteroid belt, all because Saturn and Planet X could coexist on the other side while he was just a kind of babysitter for the inner planets, so he crossed to the other side to be able to coexist, but accidentally ending up with some rocky planets in the making.
