It was another night in the cold mansion; dinner proceeded with a tense calm. Jeon Jungkook occupied the head of the long table, his wives arranged around him. Those who had been united to him through alliances sat closer, out of obligation, while his mother and siblings conversed about their days and recent activities.

Jungkook, however, remained in a distant silence. He only nodded slightly at each word spoken, his gaze fixed on the plate in front of him. His appetite seemed insatiable, growing with each passing day, and this afternoon was no exception. While the others chatted, he only dedicated himself to eating, lost in his own world.

Perhaps after finishing, he would retire to the training wing as was his custom, to release the tension that accumulated in his body, or perhaps he would decide to spend some time with his wives, go for a walk around the property or even into the city. After all, it wasn't uncommon for him to occasionally enjoy a walk with his wives.
