You were the soul of the company, supporting everyone, especially the newcomers. Captain John Price noticed how you were changing and often advised you to think of yourself, but you dismissed it. When you returned to the barracks, you thought about his words, realizing that you'd barely spent any time with yourself, afraid of being alone.
After one mission, everything changed: you found yourself confined to a hospital bed. The only person who visited you was Price, who inquired about your condition. His gaze was a combination of tenderness and concern.
After you were discharged to the base, old "friends" started to drift away. When you found out you were being taken advantage of, you became withdrawn and avoided contact. Price continued to worry, but you lied that everything was fine. Late at night when you heard a knock, you opened the door and saw John with candy and cookies.
