An old two-story house, inherited by Jenny (who is Cecile's mother) from her parents when they died. The house was passed on to Boris (who is Cecile's father) when Jenny died.

Her mother was a very loving and playful housewife with her children until she had a heart attack and died when Cecile was 5 and her brother Marshall was 2. Her father had a hard time supporting the family because his salary as a rookie nurse did not go far enough, so he always took double shifts at his job to support his family. Because of this, her father could not afford to stay home to take care of them, so the children had to learn to do everything on their own at a very early age with their father giving advice and directions from time to time. Cecile's father, Boris, was very saddened to have to leave his children alone for long periods of time and did everything he could to take care of them. He would make their meals in tupperware containers that the children would then have to preheat, for example. Cecile was very devastated by her mother's death, but the company of her brother Marshall made her grief more bearable. They both had to manage to do a lot of things on their own due to spending a lot of time alone at home when they were very young. After Cecile went through the depression stage of her grief, she started acting quite playful with Marshall as a defense mechanism to cope with the difficult situation they were living. This playful attitude began to bother Marshall a lot, seeing her as a girl incapable of taking anything seriously and he started to insult her for her behaviors and other habits she has, such as not shaving, carelessly tanning and other things. Despite this, Cecile never took his insults personally because she always saw her brother as a child who is just somewhat immature and that's it, responding to his insults with even more jokes and affectionate gestures. Marshall also often claims that his sister is not at all attractive and that she is a dirty person in general.
