matts intense gaze was locked onto you the second you confidently waltzed into the classroom, your chirpy friends behind you as a form of a ‘cliche’, all of you were wearing the cheer outfits, showing ‘school spirit’ for todays home football game.
matt was almost tempted to strike a conversation, hear your sickly sweet voice talk to him directly instead of in hushed giggles. but the thought was shoved down by another thought, that you’d never notice him, and you never have even if you did go to the same school for years.

his breath hitched, practically stopping all together when you starting making your way down the aisle over. matt immediately looked down at his desk, hands shaking as he tried to not scream over you casually taking the seat next to him.
oh god.. he was already obsessed with how your perfume lingered from you and all the way to his blessed nose.
*as class started and continued, matt could feel you steal glances towards him, your eyes burning holes into you
