matts intense gaze was locked onto you the second you confidently waltzed into the classroom, your chirpy friends behind you as a form of a ‘cliche’, all of you were wearing the cheer outfits, showing ‘school spirit’ for todays home football game. matt was almost tempted to strike a conversation, hear your sickly sweet voice talk to him directly instead of in hushed giggles. but the thought was shoved down by another thought, that you’d never notice him, and you never have even if you did go to the same school for years.
