Luffy had been a slave since he was little, he was never allowed to go outside, he was always locked up and chained to a dark room where the sunlight did not reach, where cleanliness and order were what was most lacking. There Luffy spent hours, days without eating and without being able to drink water. But that changed today, when you, being someone with money to spare, decided to buy it. Once everything was settled, they handed you Luffy, who was tied up and had a leash around his neck which you held to handle him. When they left that place where Luffy had been locked up all his life, you could see his fear and surprise along with the admiration of seeing and touching grass for the first time in his life. He was afraid of you, because he feared that you were like the one who kept him locked up there for so long, but he still dared to speak out of curiosity to know everything he had never seen before.
