History Birth Inuyasha was born to a human noblewoman named Izayoi, and her yokai lover, Inu no Taisho. Angered by her consorting with a demon, Izayoi's own guard, Takemaru, pierced her with a spear on the very night of the lunar eclipse for Inuyasha's birth. Izayoi was strong enough to give birth to Inuyasha before succumbing to her mortal wounds, though she was soon resurrected by Inu no Taisho's healing sword, Sacred Fang. Inu no Taisho, suffering mortal wounds from a climactic battle with Ryūkotsusei, had enough time left to name the newborn Inuyasha and bid farewell to her infant son and Izayoi before encouraging them to flee. She died that night, using the last of her strength to stop Takemaru from pursuing them, leaving Inuyasha to be raised by his mortal mother.

Childhood and youth Inuyasha's childhood was very lonely, save for his interaction with his mother. Being a Hanyo, he was accepted by neither humans nor yokai. The other children would always call him a "half-breed". Ostracized by all humans except his mother, he was devastated when she died when he was still young. He was left with only the Fire Rat Robe she had received from her father, as well as a container of rouge (the equivalent of modern lipstick), which he later gifted to Kikyō before being sealed to the sacred tree.[1]

Inuyasha, unable to defend himself as a child, was often forced to hide whenever he encountered a hostile yokai. Such situations left him frustrated at not being able to defend himself until he was older. Because of this, he developed a hostile and defensive personality, becoming especially reclusive on the night of the new moon, during which he loses his demonic powers and becomes a mere mortal. Inuyasha mentioned that he never slept even once during the new moon in order to prevent his weakness from being known.

In his most demonic form, Inuyasha's dog-demon features resemble those of his brother Sesshōmaru. When transformed as such, Inuyasha's sclera turned a deep red, his irises became blue slits with white pupils, and jagged purple stripes appeared on the sides of his face, and his fangs and claws became longer. As a yōkai, he almost always loses his human mind and becomes a raging beast. Inuyasha usually only transforms when his life is in danger or he is in very severe pain.

When he assumes his full human form, Inuyasha's demonic claws and fangs, as well as his dog ears, disappear. His silver-white hair changes to black and his golden eyes change to brown.

Since Inuyasha is a Hanyō, he turns into a human once a month when there is a new moon and returns to his normal form when the sun rises. As a human, Inuyasha's demonic claws and fangs, as well as his dog ears, disappear. His silver-white hair changes to black and his golden eyes change to brown. With this transformation, he also loses all of his abilities as a half-demon and has to be especially on guard against attacks. But regardless of whether he is human or half-demon, he always protects his friends, especially Kagome.

He completely loses his powers in New Moon, becoming weak and somewhat fragile like a normal human.

Jacket: Matching the pants, the hitoe is also made of Fire Rat Fur. It has bell sleeves, and Inuyasha usually wears his arms crossed, putting his hands inside. The collar is long and open, which makes it possible to see the shirt he is wearing underneath, and you can also see that it is open at the arms (maybe to gain more speed). It is red like the pants. Shirt: This is a Kosode. The Kosode was usually worn as an undergarment in the Sengoku period, and was invariably white. The sleeve was smaller. Obi Belt: Steel Fang is attached to this belt. Pants: His Hakama and Hitoe are made from Fire Rat Hair. They are a type of hakama called Sashinuki where the legs are divided by the Hitoe and the ankles are brought together, creating a bomb-like effect.

He is of average height, standing at 1.68 cm (5'6"), with a slender body that belies his enormous strength. Like his half-brother Sesshōmaru, he has a thick mane of waist-length silver-white hair, thick dark eyebrows, golden eyes with slit-shaped pupils, claws on each of his fingers, and short fangs in his mouth. His ears are furry and pointed like a dog's. His nose, despite appearing normal, is always wet unless he has a cold, in which case it dries out.

Jakotsu, or Kagome, is also described as handsome. He always wears his red kariginu made from the skin of the fire rat (Hinezumi), which is fireproof and protects Inuyasha from burns. Inuyasha also always walks barefoot.

Attire InuYasha usually wears the clothes that priests used to wear during the Sengoku period.

Even when his life was in danger, Inuyasha refused to back down. Enemies were baffled by his unorthodox fighting style, and he achieved victories greater than his skills would suggest or reach. Inuyasha was driven by a fierce and persistent determination to win, and his grit in battle proved to work to his advantage. However, his volatile emotions could often lead him to behave very childishly. Inuyasha himself could not control his tumultuous soul. Even if he was gravely injured, he would completely forget about his pain the moment someone he was trying to protect was in danger. Because of this, his emotions would push his body beyond its limits. This was especially demonstrated when Kikyo was in danger. Inuyasha was incredibly hot-headed and easy to anger, often striking out with his fists at the source of his annoyance. He would even occasionally beat up small children if they annoyed him, which often happened with Shippō. He was impatient by nature and could be very proud, having great difficulty admitting that he was wrong about something.

Both were tricked by Naraku, who tricked Kikyo into sealing Inuyasha impaled on a tree, with an arrow in his shoulder, keeping him unconscious... But after that, Kikyo committed suicide, burning his body along with the Shikon pearl.

Pearl that makes the powers of any demon or entity increase considerably, even with the ability to make a wish and revive people with a fragment.
