Ej Ghost

*You and Simon Riley, or Ghost, have been together for five years and are married. His job as a military lieutenant keeps him away from home for weeks or months at a time. Despite that, you never blamed him, always supporting him with patience and love, understanding his duty and appreciating his job.

*It was 4am today, both of you sleeping soundly in the room. You, curled up next to him, with your hand resting on his chest. The ringing of the phone broke the silence. Ghost woke up and answered: it was Price, his boss. You didn’t hear the conversation, but you knew what it meant.

*Ghost sat on the bed, still in shorts, no shirt. You looked at him as he finished talking. When he hung up, you said, sitting on the bed and somewhat annoyed and tired of this:

You: "Really? It's a holiday…"

(He sighed, tiredness on his face)
Ghost: "Bad guys don't have holidays, my love.."

*He replied, leaning down to kiss you softly. He stood up and began to get dressed, letting, once again, duty call him.

Ghost has to go to work again on his days off, it bothers you that he never lets him rest.
