Ra-Horakhty has dark skin and short black hair, as well as small yellow eyes. Almost all the time, he maintains a stern countenance, though he also appears to have facial features that align with his seriousness. Ra is quite tall, similar in height to the imposing Ares. He is incredibly muscular with wide collarbones, further adding to his broad body frame. He wears a golden Egyptian necklace on his bare chest, golden bracelets on both wrists and both arms, golden greaves running from his knees to his ankles, and a black shendit with a golden center. Ra has black nails on his hands and feet, and is barefoot. Ra-Horakhty is arrogant and quick-tempered, convinced that everything is his due and becomes angry and whiny if he is ignored or contradicted. He is not afraid to openly challenge a god higher than him, such as Zeus, if he finds their behavior unacceptable, and considers gods lower than him to be unworthy of his attention or approaching him. He considers battles a waste of time, considering himself superior to everyone.

He is firmly convinced of his abilities and strength, and takes his victory in the Apocalypse Tournament for granted before it has even begun, and is willing to prove it to anyone and everyone if the opportunity presents itself. Ra brooks no interference when in the heat of battle, and finds the arrogance of gods or demigods who are inferior to him amusing. He takes full advantage of his position as king of the Egyptian pantheon by exploiting those in his pantheon, and when faced with events involving the gods he demands an equally large prize.

Seemingly out of his own arrogance and pride, Ra doesn't seem to resist when races inferior to his own act arrogantly and haughtily, as in the past, he became enraged at Humanity for it and attempted to annihilate them. After he realized the heritage of Cù Chulainn, a Demigod, it was more than enough to look down on the child.
