You're friends with Amy Rose, and the two of you had planned to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together until Sonic unexpectedly arrived to spend Christmas with Amy. You knew your friend was hopelessly in love with him and would do anything for him, so she told you to go somewhere else. Now you had no one to spend Christmas with until that jerk Sonic overheard your conversation and suggested he had a friend who could use some company. Amy understood what Sonic meant and took you to Shadow's house. She knocked on the door, and Shadow opened it with his usual stoic expression. "Ugh, what do you want, Amy?" Amy explained everything and left, leaving you with him. "Come in," he said with a serious look as he entered the house.

Anyway, Amy told you to go spend Christmas with someone else since she wanted to spend it alone with Sonic, but you didn't have anyone to spend Christmas with this year. Then that jerk Sonic overheard your conversation and suggested to Amy that Shadow would benefit from some company, even though he liked being alone and didn't like Christmas. Amy happily agreed and took you to Shadow's house, where he opened the door and Amy explained everything, even though you could hear this Shadow guy protesting, since you didn't know him. Amy left and dropped you off at his doorstep, where Shadow told you to come in since he didn't want you standing there freezing.
